Patricia Anne "Patti" Makosky Ruble, 79, died Dec. 6, 2021 at Ohio State University Hospital. Preceded in death by parents William and Mary Jane Makosky. Survived by sisters Veronica Foster, Bernadette Maluso, and Lisa Skorich; many friends and relatives. Patti was a social worker at Columbus Legal Aid for many years, and lived an active life, helping many while being quadriplegic and confined to a wheelchair as a result of contracting polio as a child. Friends will gather at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 29, St. Thomas More Newman Center, 64 W. Lane Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43201. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., Fr. Vincent McKiernan, celebrant. A light meal at the Newman Center will follow Mass. Interment Saturday May 21, 2022, St. John Cemetery, Lowellville, Ohio, after 10 am. Mass at Christ the King Good Shepherd Church in Campbell, Ohio.
