On Thursday, 17 November 2022, Barbara Louise Preest (nee Herring), loving mother, died peacefully at the age of 84, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara grew up in Dayton, Ohio but resided in the Columbus Ohio area with her husband, children, and grandchildren for over 60 years. She shared her musical passion with her loved ones, predominantly playing the piano, violin, and flute, but was able to play any instrument placed in her hands. She enjoyed sewing, needlepointing, and knitting, but mostly she loved her family and always put them first. She was a dedicated mom to all of her children, and she raised them to be kind and loving.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Preest, her parents Grace and Earl Herring, and her brother and sister Jerry and Betty. Barbara is survived by her five children Robert Preest, Lisa Lorenz, Faith Cremeans (Ryan), Teresa Herrera, and Patricia Moore (Shawn); also her grandchildren, Cathy Bartley, Heather Colbert, Brooke Herrera, Terry Moore, Temauni Moore, Treyvon Moore, TyShawn Moore, Miracle Moore, Grace Cremeans and Michael Cremeans. Her great grandchildren Siera, Maria, Allison, Anna, Summer, Erin, Madison, Carson, Harley, Riley, Legend, Athena. In lieu of traditional funeral services we invite loved ones to join us in celebrating Barbara's life on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 12:00PM – 5:00PM, at 17186 Krinn Unger Keck Road, Logan Ohio.
