BREWER
Alice Patricia (Snider) Brewer went to heaven Monday, January 9, 2017 surrounded by family. Alice "Pat", born July 1, 1928, was the fourth of six Snider sisters from Somerset, Ohio. She graduated from Rosary High School in 1946. Alice worked as a secretary in numerous positions, including the school offices at St. Mary's in Marion, Ohio and St. Bernard's in Indiana, PA. She also enjoyed volunteering at St. Cecilia School in Columbus in the early 1990s. For many years, Alice was a devoted wife and mother. A devout Catholic, she passed on her faith and trust in God to her three children, and then five grandchildren. Always an optimist, Alice lived her faith, and was an inspiration to many. Preceded in death by parents, Mary Loretta (Gilligan) and Clarence Snider; faithful husband of 65 years, Arnold "Duke" Brewer; sisters Helen Stricker, Wilma Amrine, Mary Margaret Anglim, and Janet Davis. Survived by sister Joan Rohr; children Annette Brewer, Marcus (Consuelo) Brewer, Pamela (Wayne) Whitehead; grandchildren Alexander Brewer and James (Kirsten) Whitehead, Leah, Nicholas, and Nolan Whitehead; many loving nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Danbury Senior Living for the care they provided to Alice over the last year and during her final days. Family will receive friends at St. Cecilia Church, 434 Norton Rd. Columbus 43228, Saturday, January 14 from 10 - 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Fr. Leo Connolly celebrant. Interment Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad St. Galloway, OH. A luncheon will follow at St. Cecilia Church. The family welcomes contributions in Alice's name to the St. Cecilia Elementary School Endowment Fund, 440 Norton Rd.
